In order to process your booking and ensure that your travel arrangement run smoothly and meet your requirements we need to use the information you provide such as names, address, passport numbers, any special needs/dietary requirements, etc. We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information.
Deposit and Payment
To secure your reservation, a deposit of 20% of the total cost is required within 7 days of your confirmation. The deposit does not constitute a confirmed booking. It is required to activate or secure a booking.
Final payment for all features is required 30 days prior to commencement of the service in Korea.
All payment may be made by Credit Card or by money transfer.

Cancellation by you and Refunds
For any cancellations for confirmed arrangement, a cancellation fee according to the case incurred will be charged. EXODUS DMC has 61 days notice of cancellation policy for group (over 10 persons) and 31 days notice for FITs (less 9 persons). For full refund of the confirmed arrangement, notice of cancellation must be in writing and received by EXODUS DMC no later than 31 days for FITs and 61 days for Groups prior to commencement of the service. Cancellation received on the following days prior to arrival effects the cancellation penalty of the total cost as follow.

EXODUS DMC can only be responsible for refunding amounts actually received. However, if cancellation occurs after start of the service or tour, no refund will be made for any unused accommodations and/or any missed meals, sightseeing tours or unused service of chartered transportation. The right is reserved to cancel any individual membership in its entirety or part thereof by refunding a proportionate balance for the unused portion of the tour.
Cancellation by Us
We will not cancel your bookings except if events occur which make it impossible to operate to an acceptable level of safety, convenience and comfort, such as political unrest, hostilities, industrial dispute, strikes, riots or civil commotion, natural disaster or any other similar circumstances or if you have not paid in full by the due date.
Rate and information accuracy
Please note that any information and prices may have changed by the time you come to book your travel service. Whilst every effort is made to ensure accuracy of the information, regrettably errors do occasionally occur, renovation or close down of restaurants or hotels, and internal air, train or boat schedules and routes alter during the year and some are withdrawn at short notice. We endeavor to make suitable alternative arrangements to cause the least disruption to the itinerary.
All our rates are our NET and non-commissionable. Prices and supplements are per person and are based on a minimum of two persons travelling together sharing a twin bedded or a double accommodation, and therefore the price for solo traveller is always subject to single room supplement charge. Single rooms are not always available, particularly in temples, therefore the single supplement quoted excludes single room accommodation in these locations. Any difference in category and cost will be presented for your option. The prices in our tariff are based on known fares and costs prevailing at the time of publication and therefore all the prices are subject to reconfirmation at the time of booking. EXODUS DMC reserves the rights to change any tour prices with or without notice due to increase of hotel rates, airfares, transportation costs, and exchange rate fluctuation. High season surcharge will apply on travel cost, accommodation and activities on stipulated dates; conventions, festivals, holidays, or weekends. All our tour prices are based on English speaking guide. The services of German, French, Spanish or Russian speaking guides are subject to an additional cost and availability.
Should you obtain our tariff either by post or at the trade shows, travel marts, Fam Trips or any other occasions or channels, please use it only as a price guideline or self-calculation purposes to estimate the cost of the service. The prices are available on request.
Tours and sightseeing
EXODUS DMC carefully designed itineraries with an aim to show you to what we consider the highlights, revealing main sights as well as cultural aspects. Most of the tours are available year-round however the programs like Bird Watching or Soft Adventure are limited for the seasonal reason. Panumunjom tour is not operating on Sundays, Mondays and both Korean, and USA holidays. In addition, the tour dates are given after the security consideration by the United Nations Commander, and therefore it is uncertain to plan the tour much in advance.
Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best night stops and highlights. It is all our intention to follow the day to day itinerary, although there is a built in degree of flexibility to take account of any whims or particular interests the clients may have. EXODUS DMC reserves the right to adjust the tour in response to variations in transport timetables and other changed circumstances as local operational conditions may vary and unforeseen circumstances can arise. Occasionally, as a result of various local factors, usually flight delays, schedule changes and museums or galleries close, may happen, our itineraries should be used as a guideline.
The tours operate by only English-Korean speaking guide.
Those who wish to participate SIC tour will share vehicle and guide service with other tourists. You are requested to show up in time at the tour departure point for we do not arrange pick up service from one hotel to another. The tour covers the attractions as what listed in the itinerary then at the end of the tour you are dropped at the designated point from where you make your own transfer to your hotel. The tour is designed for independent visitors with more emphasis on flexibility in cost and program.
You have two options to choose from.
One is to have a private transfer to the designate tour departure point and the other is to make your own transfer arrangement.
On return from the tour, the same way back to your hotel either by private transfer or at own. The private transfer option is subject to an additional charge.
No particular limits on our tours, but some programs like Kimchi Making, Pottery Making, Temple Stay, Taekwondo and Trekking is subject to operate with minimum 10 persons. However, Temple Stay and trekking in general limits the participants up to maximum 20 people for each operation. Under age of 11 by tour regulation is not allowed to join Panmunjeom (JSA) tour.
All bookings of rooms are based on standard category unless otherwise specified. However, all reservations are based upon availability at the time of booking. In the event that an accommodation in such grade is unavailable, the best available accommodation will be provided.
Transfers and vehicles
All transfers to and from airport, port or train station and sightseeing are by car, van, motorcoach or other conveyance. All our vehicles are fully insured vehicles with experienced and courteous drivers, equipped with air conditioner and heater. The mode of transportation are subject to the conditions mutually agreed upon. Our recommendation is a car (2 passengers), van (3~4), minibus (5~9), and motorcoach (10~35).
EXODUS DMC basically books train on first class, boat or ferry on 2-in-cabin class for the overnight cruise on space availability, and domestic air on economy class unless otherwise specified. If the boat or ferry cabins are not available, we book the best available alternatives. The passenger name as in the passport, passport number, date of birth, gender, and nationality is required for the boat or ferry and the flight booking.
Breakfast is included in all our tours staying more than one night with some exceptions. The letters B, L, D in the itineraries indicate that B: Breakfast, L: Lunch, and D: Dinner, and the indicated meals are included on those particular days. We do not include lunches and dinners in order to maximize flexibility and choice, but could be included upon your request.
For the tours staying more than one night, 30% discount is favored to the first child under age of 12 on the condition that he/she is accompanied by two full paying parents staying in triple room. However, the second and additional children are subject to be a full charge on sharing half twin use basis. No child discount shall be favored to the tours; Day tours, Cultural tours, Night tours, and Shore Excursions.
Free of Charge
EXODUS DMC offers one free of charge on half twin use condition for the party of more than 15 full paying members.
EXODUS DMC arranges rent cars around Korea. All cars have automatic transmissions. Self-drive rental is available from minimum 24 hours. Our rent cars are insured; Bodily Injury Liability Coverage (BI/대인). If an insured person is legally liable for an accident, BI coverage pays for injuries/death to people involved in the accident other than the insured driver. But, BI coverage does not pay for legal defense costs if you are sued.
Property Damage Liability Coverage (PD/대물). If an insured person is legally liable for an accident, PD coverage pays for damage to others' property resulting from the accident. But, PD coverage does not pay for legal defense costs if you are sued.
Personal Injury Protection (PIP/자손) Coverage. PIP is a coverage in which the auto insurance company pays, within the specified limits, the medical, hospital and funeral expenses of the insured person, people in the insured vehicle and pedestrians struck by the insured vehicle. PIP is the basic coverage implemented in no-fault automobile insurance states.
Collision Coverage (자차). When your insured vehicle overturns or collides with another object, Collision coverage pays for the damage to your vehicle. Collision coverage also may extend to a non-owned vehicle or one rented for personal use that is in your custody or that you are operating. Certain exclusions may apply. But, TP (Theft Protection/도난) is not applicable in our rental agreement.
If you drop the vehicle at a different location than where you rented, returning a vehicle to a location from which you rented, you will be subject to be an additional charge by rental agreement. In the event of car damage, the insured person must pay 50% of the rental fee for the compensation of loss or damage in use during the repair period. We strongly request to bring International license.

Limitation of Liability
EXODUS DMC acts only in the capacity of an agent for the hotels, airlines, bus companies, railroads, ship lines, or contractors providing accommodations, transportation or other services to the client. The client is advised that EXODUS DMC purchases such hotel accommodation, transportation, restaurant and other services from various independent suppliers who are not affiliated with EXODUS DMC. EXODUS DMC makes every effort to choose the best suppliers of the aforementioned services, however EXODUS DMC has no right to control the operations of these agents and as a result, cannot be liable for any personal injury, property damage or other claim which may occur as the result of: (1) the wrongful, negligent or arbitrary acts or omissions on the part of the independent supplier, agent, its employees or others who are not under the direct control or supervision of EXODUS DMC; (2) defects or failures of any vessel, aircraft, vehicle or other instrumentally which is under the control of an independent supplier, or (3) loss, injury or damage to person, property or otherwise, resulting directly or indirectly from any Acts of God, airport closure, dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, or wars (whether declared or not), government order, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, medical epidemics, quarantines, or customs regulation defaults, delays or cancellations of or change in itinerary of schedule, or from any causes beyond EXODUS DMC’s control. Further, EXODUS DMC is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports, visa or other legal documents. All coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets issued by EXODUS DMC are issued subject to any and all tariffs, terms, and conditions under which any services are proved by such hotels, airlines, bus companies, railroads, ship lines or owners or contractors or by their person in employ. Under force majeure circumstances, the right is reserved to cancel or change itineraries or substitute services without notice.
We do not accept liability for any loss, damage or expense resulting from war or terrorist activities, threatened or actual, civil strife, industrial dispute, adverse weather conditions, fire, flood, drought, airport regulations and closure, unforeseen alteration of public transport schedules, rescheduling of aircrafts, boats, trains, or any type of transportation means or any other event outside our control which either delays or extended the travel arrangement.
Reservation of Rights
EXODUS DMC (when deemed necessary) reserves the right to: (1) cancel any itinerary or any part of it: (2) make any alteration to the itinerary (including but not limited to alterations to substitution of hotels): and (3) decline to accept any person as a tour passenger should such person’s health, mental or physical condition impede the operation of the tour of the other passengers. Tour members are held responsible for being in sufficient good health to undertake the tour.
EXODUS DMC is not responsible for any errors, omissions or misquotes contained in this website or any other accompanying promotional documents. The contents for the website or promotional documentation may be changed any time (including but not limited to rates and itinerary) without notice and at EXODUS DMC’s sole discretion.
Disputes arising out of, or in connection with, this contract which cannot be amicably settled, may (if customer so whishes) be referred to arbitration under a dispute settlement committee devised by arrangement of Korea Association of Travel Agents, is administered quite independently by the chartered institute arbitrators. The settlement (details of which will be supplied on request) provides for a simple and inexpensive method of arbitration on documents alone with restricted liability on the customers in respect of costs. The arbitration does not apply to claims for an amount greater than USD 200 per person. There is also a limit of USD 1,000 per booking form. Neither does it apply to claims which are solely or mainly in respect of physical injury or illness or the consequences of such injury or illness. The application of arbitration must be made within one month of the date from the termination of the contracted service.
