Jeju (L) 110km
Spend a full day exploring the fascinating culture and natural wonders of Jeju. Begin today with an exploration of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site of Manjang Cave, the world's longest lava tube which has a known length of 13.4km. Be prepared for the damp and the difference in temperature. On entering the cave, you are likely to be greeted by a cold breeze oozing out of the lava tubes, and the cave's ceiling tends to drip at times. Although the floor is full of puddles and the lighting inside is dim, you can easily cover up to 1km by walk, exploring the weirdly shaped stalactites, stalagmites, flow ledges and finally lava stone pillar. One of the major attractions inside the cave is the Stone Turtle, which many believe is shaped like Jejudo.

Squeeze in a stop at Haenyeo Museum and learn about the women diver's harsh work and life. Typically, they dive from September to May, and rest of the month work on their farms all while taking care of their children and domestic duties. The display includes the tools, diving outfits, as well as diving techniques, various implements used to collect seafood and a full-size replica of a traditional women diver house including a primitive log raft that once used for fishing.

Later you will explore UNESCO site, Seongsan Ilchulbong known as Sunrise Peak. It is the island's largest tuff cone which is surrounded on three sides by the ocean rising 182 meters strait from the water. You may wish to climb this steep cone up to the spectacular crater surrounded by 99 basalt pinnacles which looks like crown from a distance and reflects marvelous scenery.

With time to visit, enjoy an overall 2-hours trekking over
Darangswi Oreum. ¡°Oreum¡± is a parasitic volcano in Jeju word. On the ground beside the Darangswi is dense with weeds and cedars on its foot, but trees are sparse on the top of it. Darangswi Oreum that rises 382.4m, covering an area of 800,463§³ with a girth of 3,391m, is a rare example of a regular round contour with an asymmetrical slant.
While most oreums have asymmetric slops, Darangswi oreum is a vertically balanced oval shape; this outstanding beauty of proportion surely gives a good reason for its title i.e. the ¡®Queen of Oreum.¡¯

On top of the mountain, there is a funnel shape of huge circular crater that is 115m deep. About 40 minutes fatiguing and inspiring walk brings you up to the rim of the impressive crater, where you will loop around the rim of 1.5km while enjoying the landscapes spreading below. Being closer to the summit, the rim gets narrower, and you will soon find yourself scaling on to the peak. The wind often gets stronger, but this refreshing air stimulates your senses.

After trekking, stroll through
Bijarim featuring a dense evergreen forest of the pine tree Torreya cunifera. Enjoy an oriental nutmeg forest known as the largest one in the world consisting of a single species. A total of 2,878 nutmeg trees that are between 300 to 800 years old with a height of 7 to 14 meters are growing on an area of 450,000§³. And at the center of the forest stands a single specimen that is 800 years old. A leisurely walk through this lovely forest is refreshing and perhaps a perfect combination of your Oreum trekking.
