Through practicing various offensive and defensive techniques, Taekwondo helps you build not only physical strength and flexibility but also spiritual balance and focus.
As your skills develop, you¡¯ll notice improvements in your flexibility, strength, balance, breathing, vision, and concentration. Rooted in ancient Korean history, Taekwondo was once performed during ceremonies and rituals.
Today, it has evolved into a modern global sport that anyone can enjoy, requiring no special equipment - only dedication and an open mind.
In this program, you¡¯ll experience core elements of Taekwondo, including:
Pumsae (Forms): A series of systematic, choreographed movements performed against imaginary opponents using a variety of techniques.
Chagi (Kicking): Dynamic kicking techniques used for both self-defense and competition.
Gyeokpa (Breaking): The art of breaking wooden boards or roof tiles with your hands - a test of focus, strength, and overcoming fear.
After your session, you¡¯ll have time for photos, and a certificate will be awarded to commemorate your Taekwondo experience.
